Inspire Motorsports finishes 1-2 in New Jersey - Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Championship driver Jonathan Bennett acquired Inspire Motorsports just a month or so ago. How could he have imagined that in the first race as the "new Inspire Motorsports", he would earn his first pole position and his first podium. And the driver that passed him for the lead towards the end of the race was none other than his own Inspire teammate Charlie Shears!
The entire Inspire Motorsports team should be congratulated for the hard work in getting this new team to New Jersey and taking the top two podium positions in their first race. More racing tomorrow!
